CFA: János Bak Scholarship for the MA programs in Medieval Studies at the Central European University
For the 2023-24 academic year the János Bak Research Fellowship board is offering two scholarships of 2000 EUR each to support study in one of the MA programs in Medieval Studies at the CEU. The funding is intended to cover the partial costs associated with studying in Vienna for any applicant with a particular interest in the medieval history of Central, East-Central and Eastern Europe. Successfulscholarship applicants in the 2-year program will have their scholarship renewed for the second year of study, subject to the successful defense of the thesis prospectus and a GPA above 3.5.
Application process:
Completed application process for either 1-year or 2-year MA program in Medieval Studies (proof of submitted application necessary)
A letter (up to 300 words) explaining the applicant’s interest in the history of medieval Central, East-Central and Eastern Europe and how they are going to make it part of their studies at the CEU. It may include plans for the MA thesis topic.
Short CV (can be the same as the one submitted to the CEU application)
